5 types of bosses and how to handle them

I've once been in a situation where my bosses are most of them cranky for the whole day. Oh my, what a stressful day that is. They have something called the pyramid of bosses, where every boss want to show each other "Who's the boss". Where the higher ranking scold lower one level, and it goes on and on and on. It's called "The chain of scolding". Everyone will tend to try to get close with their boss since they think that it is one of the easiest way to get a promotion or as a pave way for their next career step. Well, according to CBSMoneyWatch.com there are 5 common types of bosses and how to handle them.

1. The Vague One
The character where one who never make their desires clear, confusing.
Pin him down and get details. Ask straight forward, specific and as many questions as possible in order to get the right answer.

2. The Micromanager
Someone who always watch our move and always concern about their reputation. Get out from under them occasionally. Try to redirect his attention to make him realise that you're a benefit in something.

3. The Bully
They will try to steal every joy that we have in our job. Do a good work that we can stand behind. Whenever at a turning point, give some opinion and let them choose, because they like doing their own decision.

4. The Narcissist
The bosses always think that they are the only person who's living in this world. They change the rule because they wanted to for THEMSELVES. To overcome them you have to present everything through their perspective and always make them look good, from here they will think of you as an asset.

5. The BFF
Being best friend with our manager is not a bad thing. It's a good with a bad thing. The more they like being around us, they will bring us with them along the corporate ladder, but if they are using us to spy on our colleagues or some sort, then we just have to beware.

From what I see, my boss is definitely no.5 and a little bit of no.2. Crazy huh? Well, it seems that I just have to look at my back for quite sometime. Scary and fun at the same time. Never know who will be watching us.

Till the,
xoxo
