~:GIRL ON THE MOVE:~: From Abu Dhabi with Love

Sorry for the late update. A month in Abu Dhabi was a blast! :) Nothing can replace it. Spending time with the Munshi's was a splendid way for me to have a vacation and this wont be the last one..:) Staying with Kak Linda for a month was magnificent! We had fun! fun! fun! Talk all day and all night long! Cook as we please! :) Ok..Kak Linda cooks and I wash the dishes since I don't know how to cook well. Not that I don't know. Will emphasize later on the word WELL. :)

Here are some of the things we did while I was there. Just a short brief. Too much to tell for the whole month! :)

9th December 2010
--> Suzanne from HSBC called me at the airport telling me that I got the job!
--> She told me take my time and do give her a call when I get back.
--> My flight was at 8.30pm Malaysian time.
--> Arrive in Abu Dhabi 11.25pm Abu Dhabi time.
--> Abu Dhabi is less 4 hours than Malaysia.
--> Was being chased by an Arabic. Clearly no idea why!

10th December 2010
--> Went out today to Marina Mall!
--> had Fuddrockers for brunch and fell in love with it!
--> Had my baby phat shopping mood on.
--> Had fried rice for dinner from LuLu.
--> First time sat in the basement parking lot with the kids while waiting for Kak Linda.

11th December 2010
--> We had Meat Curry for lunch. Which was fabulous!
--> We went to Cornish for a walk at the beach which was breath taking!
--> We even plan in exercising and rode a bike, where we didn't finish the 30 minutes renting time and Sarah called me
and Kak Linda fat which she also can't press the bike paddle herself! Cute! :)
--> We made Lasagne for dinner. Correction. We made a HUGE Lasagne for dinner! Awesome! :)

12th December 2010
--> Morning we had mee hoon for breakfast.
--> And lunch we had Udang Tempoyak ala Kak Linda!
--> with Uncle Shahriz, Uncle Taslem, Kak Aishah, and some others.
--> At night we had Pizza Hut for dinner. Nyum!

13th December 2010
--> Had Nasi Beriani for brunch. Which was splendid!!!
--> We had a tour all the way on Yas Island.
--> Took pictures at Ferrari World.
--> In the evening we went to Carrefour and I fell in love with the cotton shoe from RedTag. :)

14th December 2010
--> Starting off with Cokodok as breakfast. Kak Linda's cokodok was like beyond nice!!!
--> Had nasi tomato and ayam masak merah for dinner.
--> cooking academy! :)

15th December 2010
--> Laksa Asam for lunch. My favourite of all time! :)
--> At night Sarah had her music recital which she lost her recorder 2 days ago and found it in the morning of the recital.

--> We ate Lebanese at night. I had chicken Shawarma PLATE! :)

16th December 2010
--> In the morning we recycle back the Laksa Asam, which was splendid! 2 bowls of it shows how tasty it is..:)
--> We had Nasi Daging for Lunch! Which was huge! :)
--> At night we made Lasagne again! Still my all time best favourite! :)

17th December 2010
--> In the morning we had Prata. It's like Chapati but much better! :)
--> Lunch time we had Popeye Sandwich. We went to Marina Mall while waiting for the friday prayer to finish.
--> Got a whole bunch at MNG Marina Mall. A blast!
--> Later went to Madinat Zayed Shopping Centre to buy mummy's lace. Bought that with some silk! :)

18th December 2010
--> We had Daging Masak Kicap for lunch.
--> Kak Linda's daging masak kicap and ayam masak lemak is the best.
--> At night we went to Kak Ayuni's house for Sate! :)

19th December 2010
--> We had Nasi Daging again for lunch!
--> It is so going to be my favourite all time dish.
--> Must come back for more!!!

20th December 2010
--> Today is Hana's Birthday! She's 2! :)
--> Had cokodok for breakfast!
--> Lunch we went for a BBQ in the park!!! :)
--> At night Kak Herda came over to the house.
--> Lots and lots of potato salad in a day! Nyum! :)

21st December 2010
--> We had nasi lemak in the morning at Kak Aishah's house!
--> Later for lunch Kak Herda cook beef soup and cupcakes for Halimaton.
--> I went and ate the balance of the icing with biscuit.
--> Later Kak Linda told me that they tested the icing with biscuits too!
--> They love it! hehe :)
--> At night Kak Herda came to the house to "lepak".
--> We had cokodok for supper! :)

22nd December 2010
--> Today we went to Brands For Less! :)
--> Came back with 5 pairs of shoes!!
--> We had nasi goreng at Kak Aishah's house and Abg Saiful went fishing!
--> At night Abg Saiful brought back camel for dinner!! Delicacy! :)

23rd December 2010
--> In the morning we went to the lovely white mosque!! :)
--> Pretty beyond pretty!
--> We had khafayef for lunch! Nyum2!! :)
--> Went to LuLu to shop for dinner!
--> Made nasi Ayam tonight for dinner! :)

24th December 2010
--> We went to Carrefour today!
--> We made steak today! Nyum2! :)
--> Hana had 3 corns! All by herself! :)

25th December 2010
--> Today we had Nasi Daging for brunch before hitting the road to Dubai!
--> We went to Dubai outlet!
--> Came back with Converse goods and perfume!
--> wish I could buy tonnes of it..:(
--> Later on we went to Dubai Mall.
--> Huge mall with big aquariums inside!! :)
--> lastly we went to take some pictures at the Burj Khalifah! The 7 star hotel..:)
--> Arrived home at around 11pm going to 12am..:)

26th December 2010
--> We had Prata again for morning breakfast! Nyum! With lamb!! :)
--> We went to the dessert at around 2pm with Kak Aishah and Kak Ayuni's family.
--> Later at 6pm when we all decided to go home, the car wont start. Not Kak Linda's car! Thank god! :)

27th December 2010
--> Breakfast + Lunch = Brunch!
--> Mee. Kak Linda fried it kind of like maggi mee but it's not. I think that it's egg noodle mee..:)
--> Splendid!
--> At night we had Udang Tempoyak for dinner!
--> Kak Ayuni and Kak Fathiah came over to the house for dinner! :)

28th December 2010
--> We went back to Marina Mall for another shopping spree with Kak Aishah!! :)
--> We had burger king for lunch! Nyum!
--> I had a major shopping spree at Forever 21 and Baby Phat!
--> Baby Phat is a major must!!
--> Shop at Baby Shop for some sexy Lingerie!
--> Had chicken Shawarma for dinner!
--> Real Shawarma! Splendid kebab! :)

29th December 2010
--> Last night Kak Aishah and kids had a small cute sleepover!
--> In the morning Kak Aishah and Kak Linda cook nasi lemak, which is triple Nyum!
--> At night we had dinner at LuLu's food court. Pizza!

30th December 2010
--> Today we went to Carrefour to buy some stuff!
--> I finish my balance of Dirham on sexy naughty Lingerie! :)
--> At night we had meehoon soup utara at Kak Aishah's house and Kak Herda came by all the way from Dubai..:)

31st December 2010
--> We made Lasagne again for lunch! Huge for sure!! :)
--> Abg Saiful came back from Toronto and bought a big Salmon fish which is delicious!!
--> I took care of Hana because Kak Linda had tennis. Nice staying with her! She's my cutie pie! :)

1st January 2011
--> I had fever last night due to the cough and cold been feeling this past few days.
--> Couldn't sleep last night.
--> Everybody keep on having this viral fever.
--> Me scared!
--> Had dinner at Kak ayuni's house. Nasi Mandi! :)
--> Kak Fathia did'nt get on the flight. Wondering will I get on my flight?

2nd January 2011
--> We went to Kids Park the whole day!!
--> Marvelous!
--> Changed my interest into having a sheep! A cute white one!
--> Want to feed it milk!! :)
--> We had Nasi Mandi at Gava Hotel!
--> Splendid! :)

3rd January 2011
--> Went to LuLu in the morning to buy chocolate to bring back home!
--> Had chicken Shawarma for dinner!
--> Had 2! To tasty to resist! :)
--> So sad to leave. The flight was this night!
--> Uncle Asrul send us. Had the boarding pass in a split second.
--> Sad

So sad had to leave from Abu Dhabi! The whole one month was a splendid month and will never forget! The kids! Especially the kids! I miss them! My Hana Banana! :) I even sometimes heard Kak Linda's phone ringtone. Scary but true. Maybe I just miss them too much! Well am planning now for the 2nd trip to Abu Dhabi!! :) I love you kak linda! Thanks for everything! :)
