Interview Mania 2!

I was so tired due to the interview yesterday. As I got back from the interview, I went out with my chenta. :) I have been craving on a big baskin robin ice-cream. So, I went to Bukit Raja with him. We had this big ice-cream that we shared! I choose Strawberry Ice-cream cake and he choose Sirius Sorbet. Which is so sour. But the ice-cream is so pretty! You know how big the waffle ice cream cone are..hehe..Due to the nice big huge ice-cream i ate with him, I woke up late the next morning. Or maybe I was a little bit tired from the hectic of being interviewed yesterday. :) Well then my search for food is done. We walk around and I love this discounted seed top! And the most sweet part is he told me that he wants to buy for me for our upcoming anniversary since I won't be around. I love u chenta! Always have, always will! :) Next, back to my interviewing mode. The next day I went to Bursa Malaysia Builiding in Jalan Raja Chulan. 

When I arrived, the place had a very tight security system. I even had to leave my identity card and it is not a normal guard who is taking care of the building but it's a trained policeman. I went up to the 6th floor and am I not surprised. I saw the same guy I was queuing during the interview yesterday at cyberjaya. Then I had a little and short bubbly conversation with him. His name is Chin Di Ming. Funny huh? I didn't even catch his name at first. He is a nice fella anyway. He has this innocence look. :) Well, Di Ming came for a 5pm interview and I came for the 5.30pm interview but then we were called up at the same time. Pity Di Ming waited so long the other day and now he has to wait for so long again today!. 


Well, I was interviewed by two people today. Reena and Amin. Both of them are wearing casual clothes. I think I'm going to like working here despite the working hours :) Here goes my interview with Reena and Amin!


Reena: Hye Shazana, My name is Reena and this is Amin.
Me: Hello! :)
Reena: Hye!
Amin: Hye!
Me: (smile)
Reena: So, Shazana when you are ready you can tell me something about yourself.
Me: Well, everything is stated in my resume. I'm a girl.
Reena: (laugh)
Amin: (laugh)
Me: I'm 22 years old. Just finish studying in Universiti Putra Malaysia of Bachelor Economics majoring in Finance. I took all the finance core subject. From Islamic finance to investment. Everything.
Reena: (Blah..blah..blah..says the same thing about working hours and shifts and holidays) is there anything you want to ask her Amin?
Amin: How good is your bowling skills? (smile)
Me: ermm..
Amin: How much is your average score?
Me: I haven't count it yet. But 3/4 of the time it goes down the drain.
Amin & Reena: (smile)
Reena: Any questions?
Me: If I am being employed. Where will I work? Here(KL) or Cyber?
Reena: Why? Is there any preferences?
Me: I prefer Cyber.
Reena: Jeng! Jeng! Jeng! (laugh) For credit analyse we only have in KL.
Me: Ow. Ok. Anywhere is fine with me.
Reena: Ok. Since you'll be leaving for Abu Dhabi, we'll contact you around January?
Me: Ok.
Reena: Currently. For me is an absolute YES. Amin?
Amin: YES!
Reena: Both of us says Yes. I'll recommend you to the HR department. Then we will come back to you in January then.
Me: Oh Thank YOU REENA! Thank you AMIN!
Reena: So that's it. We'll see you in January. (smile)
Me: Thank you reena! Thank You Amin! 


I think I just got a job! Did I just got a job in HSBC?? How exciting! When I told the story to my father. He says " That's it. You can stop with the job hunt" :) Is that a good sign? From what Reena and Amin says, does that mean I'm 90% going to get the job?  Owh! I can't wait for January. At first I had this desire of taking a look at the Bursa Malaysia main board. I wanted to see it for real. 

But then, I was too excited to tell the news to Mommy and Daddy who's waiting for me downstairs. I forgot to stop at the Bursa Main Floor. Damn! I was like this close to take a peep at it! Oh my! Never mind then, maybe it was just not meant to be. But maybe someday somehow. Till then.
